We are two weeks into a month-long data collection in collaboration with a required introductory engineering course. Each week, discussion sections meet in the Illinois Digital Ecologies and Learning Lab (IDEALL), working on the same collaborative tasks as usual, but using our collaborative sketching tools.
The goal is to compare collaboration when groups work on 55″ multi-touch tables, individual tablets and tablets with synced screens.
